AVM’s unique, modern sound skillfully redefines the essence of timeless rock classics in a fresh, new way!
I heard a great song and a great voice coming from my studio one day. I went inside, and found one of my engineers working with an Artist named Robert Mackey. I think it’s just a matter of time before he’s discovered by the rest of the world.
Great NEW version of HUSH... I really dig it!
Mackey is a gifted talent, creating original music from his heart that touches the human spirit. He will be known as THE composer for the new Millennium.
The production value is excellent...this is music made to be heard by the masses...The “It’s Tonight” CD picks up where Foreigner, Survivor, and The Alan Parsons Project left off and puts it straight into the new Millennium. This is big arena rock with the emphasis on Big! I predict major success for AVM!
Robert Mackey is a very talented man. AVM is a very good AOR Band that captures influences of Kansas, Foreigner, Survivor, Roadmaster and even Pink Floyd...without any doubt, the songs “Tired Of Telling You” and “Don’t Take No Chances” are really incredible Pomprock gems that simply can’t be ignored by fans of this lost genre. I haven’t heard a band playing this kind of rock music for a long time!
I think every song has hit potential...Robert is a very talented singer/songwriter with captivating enthusiasm.
The musical range & depth of the man is evident from the first listen... his artistry shows on every cut.
...one of the best unplugged live performances of the year on our radio show.
Robert Mackey certainly has great ideas, a good voice and the musical abilities to write and perform great songs...
AVM delves into the innermost heart of classic Rock & Roll, This band has a very bright future.
Superb songwriting and production... a lot of bands take a shot at the brass ring, Robert Mackey and his band AVM have grabbed it!
Solid musicianship and retro but keen songwriting...Mackey has a voice reminiscent of Foreigner’s Lou Gramm and you can feel the influences of Peter Gabriel, King Krimson and even Steely Dan.
