Greg Mango

Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Piano and Keyboards


Influenced by bands such as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd and Genesis, Mango developed his guitar skills by moving on to classical, jazz, flamenco, Latin, country and fingerstyle influences, studying the styles of Joe Pass, Chet Atkins, Eric Johnson, Frank Gambale, John Williams and Lee Ritenour, He also learned to tickle the ivory a bit (piano), delving into church hymns, pop, and rock music. He spent several years with the guitar trio ‘Triple Fret’ playing jazz, Latin, pop, and classical music in and around the Chicago area. Also playing acoustic and electric guitar in the country band ‘Regular Jo’.
